The only Ratzinger rant your family will ever need

This is gorgeous.
As my brother says, it's all right here, in Pope Benedict XVI's questionable qualifications, by Bill Berkowitz of Working For Change.

Nothing like arguing with a strawman who agrees with you. As I understand it, two of the reforms the new Pope must implement are a modern understanding of homosexual love and greater autonomy for "national" churches after the centralization of JPII, except that JPII and Cardinal Ratzinger didn't get involved soon enough and severely enough with the homosexual priest scandal in America.

Commies, queers, femi-nazis, and narcissistic fanatics in general. As James Taranto says in Best of the Web, Benedict XVI has all the right enemies. Do these people really think the Church is going to change, that it can change, what it has held and taught forever about such perversions of the human spirit as homosexuality, contraception, and Marxism. They must be in terrible need of affirmation if they can't face the fact that they are never going to get the Church's blessing and either submit to the authority of the Magisterium or join the Episcopalians.

How ironic that when religion did become the opiate of the masses, the addicts are the lumpen progressive masses.
